One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 overview

Today, I will be talking about One piece pirate warriors 3, a game that fuses 2 wonderful features; Dynasty Warrior’s play mode and one piece universe
For those who do not know what Dynasty warrior or One piece is, let’s talk about that:
Dynasty Warriors is a hack and slash game where you need to defeat thousands of enemies, your adventure take part in the Warring States period of Japan
One piece is a manga/anime adventure, which tells the tale of a young teen in a big and dangerous pirate world, but he is no ordinary teen since he has the power of a devil fruit aka the gomu gomu no mi (the rubber fruit)
You might be thinking, “What is a devil fruit?” or “what is the gomu gomu no mi?”
Then let me tell you:
A devil fruit is a fruit that gives a huge power to the eater but with a counterpart, he will lose the ability to swim. (Yea I know, what an idiot by eating the fruit, but that doesn’t kill his dream of becoming the pirate king.)

The gomu gomu no mi is a paramecia type of fruit that gives the user a body made of rubber, making them immune to electricity and near impervious to blunt-force attacks such as bullets.
The downside of this power is that you still get damaged by sharp things like a sword or a spike.
Now you might be thinking: “what is paramecia type of fruit?”
Then here is something new for you:
Paramecia is not the only type of devil fruit, there is a total of 3 types:
Paramecia: These fruits are characterized by giving its users a power that can affect their body, manipulate the environment, or produce substances.
Logias: These Fruits are characterized by giving its user the ability to become, create, and control an element or force of nature. If all three of these requirements are not met, then the Devil Fruit cannot be classified as a Logia type. (Logia Devil Fruits are considered the most powerful of the three Devil Fruit types.)
Zoan: These fruits are characterized by allowing the user to transform into another species and inter-species hybrid forms at will. Zoan types are especially effective in close combat.
One person can’t have 2 devil fruit powers or he will die
Let’s stop talking about the story and let’s jump into the game, shall we?
But first let's watch the trailer:
In this game you follow the story of Luffy the rubber pirate, trying to become the king of pirates (like I said before) and you need to help him find his crew.
For any one piece fan, playing the adventure from start to end is a dream came true. (kind of, since the anime is still going, so I think one day a new game with the rest of the adventure will show up)
This game has higher quality graphics and animation: the One Piece universe has never been depicted so faithfully
Each chapter has thousands of enemies to beat and 9 missions to do
If you complete the 9 missions on a chapter you unlock a poster piece
Here is an example:
There are 6 chapters with around with 1-5 chapters each (that’s a big adventure to walk/fight)
On each mission you will get coins that you can use to upgrade your favorite heros
You have a huge list of playable characters starting from the main team “the straw-hat pirates”
Ok let’s stop talking about the main mode; now let’s talk about the dream log mode:
DREAM LOG mode, in which characters and items are revealed and unlocked as the player progresses through the mode's semi-randomized battles.
After the Final Island in Dream Log is completed a second harder version called "Nightmare Log" is unlocked. (The HELLISH battles never end)
Here is something you need to know about me:
I never got a sony console so I couldn’t play the other pirate warriors, (I know what you guys will say, “why is he talking about this game when he never played the other games?” but the 3rd game was the only one to be launched on pc and I really liked it, that is the reason I’m talking about it and because I’m a one piece fan.)
If you are going to play this video-game for your first time, just remember one thing:
THE ONE PIECE DOES EXIST!!!
